On Tuesday August 25th, we have started the dig for our new productions site on the Tenholter Street in the Erkelenz GIPCO Industrial Park.

The shovel was thrust into the ground not just by our Managing Director Michael Hahn and the Technical leader Mr Lutz Schopen, but also by the Mayor of Erkelenz, Mr Peter Jansen. Even Ms Sandra Schürger, Manageress for Economic Promotions and the technical deputy Mr Ansgar Lurweg took the opportunity to make an effort for this important step for our company as well as for the business location Erkelenz.

The building project

In the first phase of the multi-level designed building project, on a total area of approx. 60.000 m² and about 7.400 m² hall space we intend to install part of the production facilities and part of the supply chain.

With an intentional investment volume of a total of 14 Million Euros we will develop a state-of-the-art production facility, which will orientate to the ideal production activity and in this parameter will realise an innovative environmentally friendly concept of manufacturing.

We reckon that by the second quarter of 2010 and with approx. 100 employees we will be able to start producing / manufacturing from the new site.
